MEDIA ADVISORY: Rock Music Community Service Ambassadors Thirteen Yards To Victory
WHO/WHAT: International recording artists Thirteen Yard To Victory (13 YTV) return to Amsterdam, N.Y., for Toy Jam II, a unique toy drive aimed at helping families unemployed due to the fragile economy.
Admission to the event is an unwrapped, new toy with a minimum $5 value, which will be distributed by the Sanford Stud Farm to needy families in Amsterdam.
WHERE: The Riverfront Center, Amsterdam, N.Y.
WHEN: Saturday, December 5, 2009, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. LIVE performance at 1:30 p.m.
About Thirteen Yards to Victory
Thirteen Yards to Victory (13 YTV) is Anthony DiPerri (20, Vocals, Keys), Vinny Prezioso (20, Guitar, Vocals), Thomas Iannello (21, Guitar, Vocals), Ryan Passariello (18, Drums) and Dave Rossi (22, Bass) of Saugus, Mass., and was formed in late 2005. During its brief time on the music scene, the band has performed during the Boston date of the internationally acclaimed Vans Warped Tour in 2007, has covered 29 states via three independent national tours and has recorded under the auspices of acclaimed drummer Kenny Aronoff (Melissa Etheridge, John Fogerty and Smashing Pumpkins).
Most recently, 13 YTV approached music industry powerhouse Ken Lewis (Usher, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z) to produce and mix their latest EP, American Dreamers recognized by The White House. Congress and others for its community service associations.
